Brecker Grossmith makes wave of hires – CoStar News

Brecker Grossmith’s new team and plans for its 60th year have been announced in leading commercial property information portal CoStar.

“Brecker Grossmith has announced a series of appointments as the West End niche firm prepares to celebrate its 60th year in business next year.

Philip Kerstein has been confirmed as Senior Property Manager, acting as consultant for landlords and tenants. During his career, Kerstein served The William Pears Group of Companies for 22 years, running an extensive nationwide portfolio of retail, office and industrial premises situated throughout the UK. He was previously Head of Commercial Management for Montagu Evans.

Jonathan Shuttleworth has been hired as Head of Professional Services. Shuttleworth joins Brecker Grossmith after five years at Knight Frank and his remit includes Landlord & Tenant rent reviews, lease renewals and ratings work.

Henry Carroll complete the new Brecker Grossmith line-up as West End negotiator joining the Agency team letting and acquiring a range of commercial spaces.

Carroll joins from MJ Mapp where was a Management Surveyor working for institutional landlords. He also worked in the Hotel Valuations team at Savills.

The company’s co-founder SM Brecker celebrated his 85th Birthday this week and is one of the longest standing members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.”
