New coffee chain aiming for good fortune in Shaftesbury Avenue

Deal done ! Brecker Grossmith has let 237 Shaftesbury Avenue to new coffee chain Coffee Fortuna. The brand, founded by entrepreneur Will Rogers, will occupy the 539 sq ft unit arranged over Ground Floor and Basement and formerly let to tailor McCann Bespoke.

The property adjoins the iconic James Smith & Sons Umbrella Shop on New Oxford Street and marries modernity and heritage with a clean contemporary fit out designed by Jenya Andersson developed within the attractive double-fronted wooden shop.

Coffee Fortuna aims to roll out further sites in London and other cities over the next two years.

Founder Will Rogers says “We came up with this idea in lockdown as we saw so many people outside walking around, even those who would normally never have gone  for a walk in pre-Covid times. We believe that if restrictions are put in place again, the future is in small locations providing fast delivery. We are ready to expand and invest in this idea to make it a success.”
