Paul Tracey is a barrister and spent his early career as a merchant banker, following which he became Chief Executive of VTR plc. He advises businesses on growth and development strategies, manages and advises on merger and acquisition transactions and has served on the boards of a number of private and quoted companies.
Richard Brecker is our co-owner and spent more than 20 years in the entertainment and media business co founding celebrity booking agency Upfront Television and the celebrity contacts directory Celebrities Worldwide. He has introduced a number of clients to the business including Bodyworlds and a range of landlords. Richard works closely with property investors and developers and also assists with acquisitions and disposals on behalf of landlord and tenants. He led the re-launch of Smiths’ Court a picturesque retail courtyard in Soho which has become a firm favourite with Instagrammers!
When he is not glued to his computer or phone, Richard can be found cheering on London’s sleeping footballing giants Tottenham Hotspur. He enjoys travelling and joked that he would aim to “eat out to help out” at every restaurant in London if it meant kickstarting the economy in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic!
Phil joined Brecker Grossmith in March 2020 as Head of Professional Services.
Phil is a general practice chartered surveyor with over 15 years experience of advising a wide range of clients on commercial real estate matters. The vast majority of his experience has been focused on the leasing and acquisition of properties for landlords and tenants, although increasingly he has been providing asset management and landlord and tenant advice to private individuals, institutional landlords and private family offices.
Prior to joining Brecker Grossmith Phil worked at Aston Rose in London where he was an associate director responsible for advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of retail, office and industrial properties.
Outside work, Phil leads an active life and previously served as a soldier in the UK Armed Forces. In 1999 he was deployed on operational service to Kosovo. Phil is married with two children and enjoys running, watching sport (particularly rugby) and volunteers as a rugby coach at a local rugby club.
Calvin has been Property Manager with Brecker Grossmith since 2007. He has developed many excellent relationships with both tenants and contractors leading to the smooth running of this service, which is vital as a core business of the company.
Recent experience has seen Calvin take the lead role in the field of planning, with the successful conversion of several offices to residential accommodation within central London.
Prior to Brecker Grossmith, Calvin was self employed, controlling a small business handling a variety of property management issues for private individuals.
Calvin’s earlier career and studies, prior to 2005, were based first in Johannesburg and then Cape Town.
Jeflyn has been with the company since 2006 and controls both the Company and Managed Client accounts. Her wealth of experience has lead to improved client reporting, both in speed and quality of service.
Jeflyn continues to implement and develop new systems to assist the property management department with particular attention to the automation of payments and the banking system.
Prior to joining the company Jeflyn achieved great success whilst working at Beringea Limited and continues with her voluntary charity work in the role of adult learner support at her local community centre.
Jack joined Brecker Grossmith in 2022 as an Agency Negotiator.
Jack has over 7 years’ experience in the residential sector, both in North Norfolk and South West London, before moving over to the commercial sector. As an agency negotiator, he is responsible for the leasing and acquisition of properties for landlords and tenants. Hd is following the RICS APC route towards Chartered membership.
Outside work, Jack is a keen Chelsea fan, casual golfer and annual snowboarder.
