Paul Tracey is a barrister and spent his early career as a merchant banker, following which he became Chief Executive of VTR plc. He advises businesses on growth and development strategies, manages and advises on merger and acquisition transactions and has served on the boards of a number of private and quoted companies.
Jonathan is a Chartered Surveyor with over 10 years professional experience working in the commercial property markets in London and the regions. He has represented both owners and occupiers of commercial property and has a proven track record of success in his field adding value for clients as a lease advisory consultant. He has negotiated many lease renewals and rent reviews on a wide variety of property types through to successful conclusions via Third Party / Written Representations if required. He has experience of providing bespoke strategic property advice in often complex situations and negotiating advantageous outcomes for his clients. His previous roles were with Knight Frank and Mellersh and Harding.
Previous work includes management surveyor at MJ Mapp, managing single and multi-let commercial properties, across office, retail and industrial sector and dealing with commercial property standard enquiries (CPSE) and due diligence for both lettings and acquisitions. He was also at Savills working in the hotel valuations team and did work experience at Jones Lang Lasalle in office lettings, Rapleys and Allsop in the residential auctions team. Henry started his career with Hardings Estate Agents in Windsor as lettings negotiator upon leaving school and through support of his Masters.
Henry plays five-a-side football and completed the Reading half marathon 2012 and 2015, plus LandAid Summer Run 2015.
Calvin has been Property Manager with Brecker Grossmith since 2007. He has developed many excellent relationships with both tenants and contractors leading to the smooth running of this service, which is vital as a core business of the company.
Recent experience has seen Calvin take the lead role in the field of planning, with the successful conversion of several offices to residential accommodation within central London.
Prior to Brecker Grossmith, Calvin was self employed, controlling a small business handling a variety of property management issues for private individuals.
Calvin’s earlier career and studies, prior to 2005, were based first in Johannesburg and then Cape Town.
Jeflyn has been with the company since 2006 and controls both the Company and Managed Client accounts. Her wealth of experience has lead to improved client reporting, both in speed and quality of service.
Jeflyn continues to implement and develop new systems to assist the property management department with particular attention to the automation of payments and the banking system.
Prior to joining the company Jeflyn achieved great success whilst working at Beringea Limited and continues with her voluntary charity work in the role of adult learner support at her local community centre.
Mackenzie started in property on building sites as a labourer at the age of 14 and was a residential estate agent by the age of 16. Since then he has worked within property management and agency including heading up commercial agency strategies for the Oxford United Football Club and surrounding commercial units, running acquisitions for established nationwide and worldwide firms, sourcing off market capital transactions up to £80m and attending business trips to South Africa to discuss investment strategy into the UK with HNIs as well as countless other projects. Mackenzie enjoys a loyal and returning client base whom he relishes maintaining.
NFOPP qualified and a member of the Institution of Commercial & Business agents his experience is inclusive of traditional and PropTech models. Since joining Brecker Grossmith, Mackenzie’s time has been spent working across a broad spectrum of commercial agency and he hopes to do his best work here.
Mackenzie is a personable and active person who enjoys travelling and staying fit.
Michael is one of the founding partners of Brecker Grossmith and is well-respected within the property industry. Having acted for a wide range of private individuals, pension funds and property companies over the past 50 years his experience is invaluable to the team. He currently has an active interest in his personal property holdings as well as an advisory and consultancy role to the company. He is still searching for deals as well as continuing with his other passion, that of painting, with many of his works having been exhibited.
