Brecker Grossmith Celebrates 60 Years in London Commercial Property

As Brecker Grossmith gears up for its 60th year in business in 2016, the West End commercial property firm announces a raft of new appointments:

Philip Kerstein FRICS IRRV (Hons) is confirmed as Senior Property Manager acting as consultant for landlords and tenants.

During an illustrious career, Philip served The William Pears Group of Companies for 22 years, running an extensive nationwide portfolio of retail, office and industrial premises situated throughout the UK. He was previously Head of Commercial Management for Montagu Evans.

Jonathan Shuttleworth MRICS has been recruited as Head of Professional Services

Jonathan has joined Brecker Grossmith after 5 years at Knight Frank and his remit includes Landlord & Tenant rent reviews, lease renewals and ratings work.

Henry Carroll completes the new Brecker Grossmith line-up as West End negotiator joining the Agency team letting and acquiring a range of commercial spaces.

Henry joins from MJ Mapp where was a Management Surveyor working for institutional landlords. He also worked in the Hotel Valuations team at Savills.

Brecker Grossmith is a family owned business co-founded in 1956 by SM Brecker FRICS (who continues to serve on the Board of directors) and Stanley Grossmith in the same offices in Wigmore Street, London W1, which it occupies to this day.

The company’s co-founder SM Brecker who celebrates his 85th Birthday on 14th December 2015 and is one of the longest standing members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
